Valentine inspired tablescape

Long time no chat!  I tell ya there are just not enough hours in a day! The other day I got a little free time to do something fun that I wanted to share with you so you can be inspired for Love Day. I made a little valentines inspired tablescape.

A pretty, simple, inexpensive, Valentine's Day Tablescape.

I wanted to kind of practice it before Sunday so I could see if it all worked nicely and how I pictured it in my mind.

I had lots of fun pulling different pieces from around our home to keep it within budget (the budget being very tiny!) and anything not gleaned from our home I picked up at a little jaunt to the dollar store and grocery store.

The banner, red napkins, doilies, paper straws, tissue paper, rose petals and confetti I picked up at the dollar store and the tulips and hersheys hugs I got from the grocery store. Everything else I had on hand!

I just love that little flower pot with a couple cupids on it, I picked it up years ago at either a yard sale or thrift store with the intention of using it around this time of year and I nearly always forget!

I must say it is quite a challenge to photograph things in our home at this time of year! This day was sunny, but a bit too sunny, so I had to close the blinds and then it felt really dark! Oh well I did my best 🙂

I just love this cute banner, it would totally be easy to make, but I just don’t have the time right now so it’s nice to find things that kind of look homemade, know what I mean?
