December Recap

Just thought I’d do a little December recap of our family happenings around Christmas. Above you can see we are in our holiday best 😉

At the beginning of the month my youngest two tested for their next belt level in Tae kwon do and they both passed! Gabe got his gold belt…

and Cadence got her green belt. So proud of them both!

The next few are the day we decorated our Christmas tree. This year we got our tree a little differently. In the past we always went out into the forest and chopped one down ourselves, but this year we were on a time crunch and were excited to see an old fashioned style tree market. I wish I had taken pictures cause it was pretty cool. This boy loves decorating for holidays 🙂

Is there anything better than kids Christmas concerts? I don’t think so! Our daughter is in the zebra striped outfit 🙂

I can’t believe how grown up she is getting! I honestly almost didn’t recognize her, partly because she looks so much like my little sister (my husband then pointed out that she therefore looks like ME as my sister and I always get told we look alike lol) This was her last Christmas concert before she heads up to the middle school and it was bittersweet for sure.

Our little guy is in the back row with the pink toque (can u tell he has two older sisters?!) and blue scarf.

We were happy to spend some quality time with some family we don’t get to see very often.

Loved seeing these cousins hanging out as if they do it every weekend, when in reality, it’s more like once a year!

Christmas morning brought some goodies from Santa

And that’s about it for 2015!

Can’t wait to see what 2016 brings…..
