Fudge Nut Cookies

Are you looking to try something a little different in your cookie selection this year? Try these yummy, chocolatey, cookies so full of fudgey goodness packed with protein as well. These are one of our family favorites!

Fudge Nut Cookies

1 2/3 cup sugar

2/3 cup butter

2 eggs

1 cup cottage cheese

2 tsp  vanilla

2 3/4 cups flour

1/2 cup cocoa

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup chopped nuts

 

Directions:

  1. Cream sugar, butter, eggs, and cottage cheese.
  2. Add vanilla and dry ingredients. Stir in chopped nuts. Chill dough 2 hours.
  3. Roll dough into balls the size of a walnut. Dip in granulated or powdered sugar. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet and bake at 350  for 8-10 minutes.
  4. Makes 5 1/2 dozen.
