Cilantro Lime Rice ~ Recipe
Transform boring, basic rice into something extraordinary with the addition of a few fresh ingredients. In this recipe, we paired lime and cilantro to create a classic flavour combination that brings added depth and freshness to your dishes.
This cilantro lime rice is yummy paired with most any type of meat but it is especially delicious when you pair it with our slow cooker Mexican shredded chicken and cilantro lime sauce.

Cilantro Lime Rice Recipe
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 45-55 minutes
Serves: 6
Ingredients:
3 c. cooked rice*
3 T. fresh lime juice
2 t. lime zest
3 T fresh cilantro, chopped
Salt and black pepper, to taste
* Can use white, brown, or jasmine rice. (Brown rice is shown in the images).
Directions:
- Prepare rice according to package directions. Or cook it up in your Instant Pot like I do 🙂
- Fluff cooked rice with a fork and stir in fresh lime juice, lime zest, and cilantro until blended. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste, and serve immediately.

- 2 tsp lime zest
- 3 Tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
